To combat disruptions is to ensure preparedness.
As one of the actions to attain their public service commitment, the Local Government Unit of Bolinao under the stewardship of Municipal Mayor Hon. Alfonso F. Celeste MD in coordination with the Bolinao Tourism Office headed by Mary C. De Guzman spearheaded a meeting to discuss the guidelines and action plans for the Oplan Semana Santa on March 26, 2022 in SB Session Hall.
Among the participants were MDRRMO, PNP, BFP, PCG, CRM, Ambulance, ERT, AGRI-SWM, TRAFFIC AIDE, BARANGAY CAPTAINS OF SAMANG NORTE AND PATAR. As the municipality is expecting that a large number of tourists will flock on the Holy Week, the 3-hour discussion and input sharing paved way for the LGU to organize control and emergency response plan that will cater the needs of the expected tourists and visitors. Focusing on providing accessible support on medical services, cleanliness and orderliness maintenance, tourist registration and travel information, safety management and transport and traffic management this undertaking aims to attain readiness for the public servants on the said upcoming holiday.
Thus, LGU and all its attached departments and agencies continuously work together to provide prompt service to the increasing number of tourists and to its people as well.
